1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Humans in the Loop, LLC app ("Sit", "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sit is an AI-powered meditation app that generates personalized guided meditation sessions. The App uses artificial intelligence to create meditation scripts and convert them to audio based on your selected preferences.

3. Health Disclaimer

Sit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The meditation content generated by the App is for general wellness purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or health condition. If you have a medical condition or mental health concern, consult a qualified healthcare provider before using the App.

Do not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation that requires your full attention. If you selected the "Walking" position, exercise caution and remain aware of your surroundings at all times.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have the consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Account

You may be required to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

6. Subscriptions & Payment

Free Tier: Sit offers limited free access to meditation sessions.

Premium Subscription: A premium subscription is available at $9.99/month, billed through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription automatically renews each month unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings at any time.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period (if offered) will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Prices may change with notice. All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

7. AI-Generated Content

All meditation scripts and audio are generated by artificial intelligence. While we strive for high-quality, safe content:

• AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or unexpected output.
• Each session is unique and generated on demand — we cannot guarantee identical results from identical inputs.
• Generated meditation scripts are not reviewed by human meditation instructors before delivery.

We are not liable for any discomfort, dissatisfaction, or harm arising from AI-generated meditation content.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, features, and underlying technology are owned by Humans in the Loop, LLC. AI-generated meditation sessions are created for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or publicly perform generated meditation audio.
• Use the App to generate content for competing products or services.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to overwhelm, abuse, or exploit the App's generation capabilities.
• Circumvent any access controls, rate limits, or security measures.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Humans in the Loop, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to the App.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
